Welcome! I’m dedicated Tai Chi practitioner and teacher based in Maidstone, Kent. I believe that Tai Chi is more than just exercise—it’s a powerful practice that brings balance, relaxation, and strength to both body and mind. My goal is to make Tai Chi accessible to everyone, in a friendly and supportive environment.
My Tai Chi Journey
I first discovered Tai Chi while looking for a gentle yet effective way to improve my mental health and well-being. Like many people, I initially saw it as a slow-moving exercise, but I soon realised its deeper benefits—improved posture, greater flexibility, increased muscle strength and a sense of calm that stayed with me long after each session. Inspired by its transformative effects and spurred on by my instructor (Telisa Tai Chi), I decided to deepen my practice and share its benefits with others through teaching.
My Approach to Teaching
My classes focus on mindful movement, relaxation, and gradual improvement. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, you’ll find a welcoming space to learn. I incorporate Qi Gong into my sessions to promote overall well-being. There’s no pressure to ‘get it right’—Tai Chi is a long journey and you’ll be supported along the way.
